Charles IT, a leading provider of IT, cybersecurity, and managed compliance services for highly regulated organizations, today announced the acquisition of MERIT 2.0 ("MERIT"), positioning the combined company to serve compliance-focused businesses across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This marks the second acquisition for Charles IT as the company expands its footprint to meet growing demand for compliance-focused IT services in regulated industries. The acquisition closed on November 17, 2025, and all MERIT team members are joining Charles IT.
